What's on at this years festival

There always a lot to see and do at the Kington Langley Scarecrow Festival. We've finalised the programme of events now and are pleased to share with you here...

Fri 19 June 2014
Concert at St Peter's Church, 7.30pm.  
Tickets (price TBC) will be available from Langley Fitzurse School Office, Mon-Fri mornings nearer the date.

Sat 20 June 2014
  • Scarecrow Trail open 10am to 5pm - £100 prize.  This year's theme is 'TV'.
  • Live music on the Sound Stage, Middle Common throughout the event
  • Crowzone Radio providing a soundtrack throughout.
  • Craft Fair in Langley Fitzurse School
  • Children's rides, including 'Mr Chuffy' the land train, on MIddle Common - TBC
  • Free performance from 'Nutty Noah', renowned children's entertainer 1.30-2.30 pm - TBC
  • Scrapheap Challenge, 3pm - make a scarecrow from scratch in teams of 4 (register at the information point)
  • Cream Teas served at the Union Chapel in the afternoon
  • Barbeque, Tea Tent, 'Crow Bar' serving Pimms and Braydon Ales
  • Ceilidh with 'Jellied Reels', Village Hall, 8pm.  

Sun 21 June 2014

  • Craft Fair in Langley Fitzurse School
  • Children's rides, including 'Mr Chuffy' the land train, on MIddle Common - TBC
  • Cream Teas served at St Peter's Church - pm
  • Barbeque, Tea Tent, 'Crow Bar' serving Pimms and Braydon Ales
  • Closing Ceremony and Prize Giving, 5pm
